Does the website really cost just what is shown?
Yes. If you look at our costs page you will see our website production costs outlined. You pay exactly what is shown and your website will be up and running online for this cost. Of course, if you want us to do extra work for you such as content writing, logo design, interactive form pages etc., there will be an extra charge for this work. You will need to contact us to discuss your requirements. Also see our terms and conditions.
What exactly do I get for my website fee?
Once we have established your website requirements your site will be designed so that it's specific to you. It will feature your pictures and information about your business or personal details that you supply. You will have your own domain name, your own email address and your own web site hosting. You will not be sharing your site with anybody else.
What will my email address be?
Your email address will be linked to your website address and will therefore be very specific to you. In other words if your web site name is www.we-make-bread.co.uk then your email address could be something like "info@we-make-bread.co.uk". The 'info' part of your address can be anything you like although it's best to keep it short. Your email address can have forwarding so you can collect emails at your current email address ie. hotmail, yahoo etc., if you want to.
Do I have to write the content myself?
No, you don't have to do the full content writing, we will do the writing for you as well as the layout and picture editing. We will, however, need to have accurate details from you about what you do and what you want the site to say. Simply providing "My name is David and I make lots of different candles." is not going to be enough! The more information you give us the better your web site will be. There is, however, a charge for copy writing your content and we will give you an estimate for this service.
How do I order my web site?
There are two ways to order your website. Firstly, you can order online by either sending us an email with an order number or filling out the order form with your details. Secondly, you can contact us by telephone. Although it is preferential to do so we not have to meet up to discuss your website details. This means that where ever you are in the UK you can order a website from Cyber Team.
How long does it take to produce my site?
If we get all the necessary content from you that you would like on your website promptly we should be able to get your site sorted out in about a week, perhaps less. Larger sites take longer to produce as there is more content to go through and edit.
How often will I be charged renewal fees?
Your .co.uk web domain name will need to be renewed every two years (every year for .com) and your hosting account (the server at which your website is based) is renewable every year. You don't pay any renewal for your web design as this has already been done, only for amendments or additions.
